General Questions

What should I do in an emergency or after hours?

In an emergency if the Practice is closed, please call 000 or present to the nearest hospital to you, with an emergency department.

A home visit MAY be available after clinic hours (where Doctor deems appropriate). Please speak to the Receptionist who will discuss further with the Doctor.

DR DR (locum service) is also available for after hours home visits – to access this service, please call 13 26 60.

What is the follow up process for results?
No results are given over the phone. Patients are required to make an appointment to discuss results with a Doctor.
How do you manage patient health information?
This Practice complies with the Health Records Act (Vic. 2001) and the Privacy Act (Commonwealth 1988).

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this Practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized persons involved in patient care.

If you wish to transfer your records, you will be asked to complete an information release form, and to provide us with photo ID that we can copy. This is to maintain privacy and confidentiality of your records.

What happens if I don't have a Medicare card?
For non medicare card holders, extra charges may apply.
Where can I give feedback or make a complaint?

At Doctors On Clyde, we understand this, but also know that women’s health is extremely important through all phases of their life.

We currently have many doctors who specialise in women’s health, both Male and Female doctors who work 7 days a week.

Men's Health
Men are typically very stubborn when it comes to their health and will only see a GP when they are actually sick.

Just like women and children, men need to have an annual health checks to assist with the prevention of any life threatening conditions such as prostate cancer or heart disease.

A man might think a doctors appointment is a waste of time as they “feel fine”, but it could easily be a life saving appointment.

Our doctors are here to assist with any concerns you may have in regards to your health. Whether it could be snoring, better performance in the bedroom or to just be a healthier you, our doctors are here to help.
